Home Sweet Home

Go Speed Racer!

Hey everybody, I'm back!

Guess what? From Sept. 29-Oct. 10, I went to Daddy's home in Cooperstown, NY. It was my first time to see Grandma and the rest of my family and new friends. We were there to celebrate the wedding of Uncle Patrick and Kimmy. It was the most romantic wedding I have ever been to. Ummm, I mean it was the ONLY wedding I have ever been too, but Mom & Dad said it was the most romantic.

The weather was perfect. The leaves were majestic. The house has not looked so beautiful since my parent's wedding 7 years ago (so I am told). It was so nice to meet everybody: Mom (loves to talk to me), Pat & Kim (newlyweds), Uncle Dan (makes me smile), Chris (so gentle and kind) & Julie, BB, Zack, Frank (who looks at me with such tender and sincere love), Pearl (all the books are fantastic and the gifts were so much fun) & Julia, Leonie, Samantha (falling asleep in your arms and loving gaze)and Sean, Sue (who I was afraid was gonna kidnap me) and Will, Clay and Miriam, Bruce & Ginny (the ultimate grand mamas and poppas), Eric & Laura and the kids, T-Money and Dolla-Bill, Dr. Aaron and Sarah, the list goes on ..

Of course, Daddy had to take me to my first pilgrimage to the nostalgic Fly Creek Cider Mill. He used to come here with his Daddy and brother on bike trips. Life comes full circle.

Hey. I am 3 months old already. Can you believe it? I tried some orange juice, apple juice and warm soup recently. Quite a change from my standard diet. I love all of my clothes. Thank you to everyone for your kinds gifts.

So, we decided to plant a tree to symbolize my birth. We bought a Scarlet Oak and planted it at Creekside at the Eastern most point of the property. The tree (as fate would have it) is already 7 (yes, 7) years old. Meaning it was born when my parent's were married.

Here is Daddy posing like he is planting the tree. He is just like his father.

Mommy even got into the action. Her first and last time to use a shovel, or so she says.

Of course, none of this would have been possible with the guidance, dedication, selflessness, brute strength, wisdom and love of Uncle Chris Barown (unofficial Head Greenskeeper at Creekside B&B). Chris was one of my favorite people to meet - EVER!

Finally, my tree was planted. In the future, we can all come down here and have a picnic under my tree.

Now we can all watch as my tree grows up - just like me. As Uncle Patrick said, "Now it will be the first thing we see as we return home."

That's it. I am tired. Goodnight. Hope I don't snore like Daddy does.

OK. OK. I have had a lot of requests for more movies. I guess people like to see me in action. So here is a little clip of me talking about my favorite subject - "Agoooo". Enjoy.

Love, KENZO
