Birthday at Tokyo Disneyland

July 16, 2008 - I turned 2 years old today. Mommy and Daddy took me - for the first time - to Tokyo Disneyland to celebrate.

I loved it. What a magical place. I wore my Pirate shirt today.

We started the day with the Disney Character Breakfast. They had Mickey Pancakes!

I love Pooh-san. Kawaii!

MOVIE : Me and Pooh-san.

I also love this guy. His real name is Tigger. But I call him "Ya-yan" (for Lion, close enough).

MOVIE : Me and Ya-Yan (Tigger).

The cutest picture ever! Huuuuug!

MOVIE : Then I did the Jungle Cruise. I like boats and water - so it was fun.

I also did Pirates of the Carribbean. Why not? I'm brave. I wasn't scared. It was cool.

Pooh's Hunny Hunt was great. It was Mommy and Daddy's first time to go as well. The entrance walls were like pages from a book.

I went to the Go-Cart race track with Daddy. He let me steer and he controlled the gas peddle. Mommy tried to drive behind us. Apparently she was all over the road. It is a good thing we are on tracks or we would be in trouble.

Look - a Zo-san (Mr. Elephant). They call him Dumbo. I call him Zo-san.

MOVIE : I also got to ride the train. It goes by Big Thunder Mountain. To our surprise - they had Dinosaurs (Raaah's, as I call them) when the train went into the tunnel. We were not expecting that.

Spinning in the Tea Cups with Mommy.

The Caroussel glowing in the twilight.

Mommy and me outside of It's a Small World ride (we did the ride earlier in the day) as the evening time cooled down the park. It was pretty hot today.

Daddy insisted that we do the Haunted Mansion ride as well. I wasn't scared of that one either. Ghosts are cool.

Right near the end, we did the Buzz Lightyear ride. That was weird in a space alien kinda way. Buzz is pretty cool though. I may have to see that movie someday.

We finished the long day by watching the Light Parade. Here you can see Pooh and Friends as they pass in front of the illuminated castle with the full moon overhead.

Here is the ticket to prove it. July 16, 2008. I am 2 years old now! Thank you Mommy and Daddy for a great Birthday present. I love Disney!

Those picture and videos look great Kenzo! Looks like you had loads of fun.

I'm sorry that I'll miss your visit to the US this year, but maybe soon I'll be able to come and visit with you in Tokyo... maybe we'll even make another trip to Disney!
