Train to Atami

Last weekend, I took a train to Atami. I brought Chichai Kuma-kun with my in my new Thomas the Train backpack. We left from Shimagawa Station (seen here).

It was only about 1 hour. When we arrived, Daddy showed me this real "Shi-po-po" Mini Train.

We stayed in a Ryoukan and they served us our meals in our room. Mommy and Daddy took turns taking me to the Onsen - the outdoor hot spring bath.

I got to see lots of nature, including the ocean and bamboo forests.

We went to the top of a mountain so I could see Mt Fuji (seen behind me). But I was hungry.

So we went back down the mountain to eat. I ordered the kid's menu for me and Ramen for Daddy.

Atami has lots of green grass and trees and fresh air.

It has lots of fun places to play and explore.

Atami was fun. You should go too!
